    Pet & Animal Law

Disputes involving animals—whether AKC ownership conflicts, breeding- and registration disputes, or claims of veterinary malpractice—combine technical documentary issues with acute personal and economic stakes. This office investigates chain-of-ownership and registration records, deciphers breed-club rules and contractual obligations, and marshals veterinary and genetic experts when necessary; we also litigate and litigate quickly when government action is involved—seizures, forfeitures, licensing suspensions, or regulatory overreach that threaten ownership or breeding operations. The approach is pragmatic and forensic: preserve evidence, value lineage and show implications with precision, pursue injunctive and appellate remedies to protect access to animals and records, and seek full accountability where negligence or improper governmental intrusion has caused loss.
